BECOME A VOLUNTEER!

Part of our mission is to empower others to transform their community.  We believe that every person in the body of Christ is uniquely gifted and called to minister.  We have many opportunities for ministry within the context of the church gathering, as well as outside of the regularly scheduled worship experiences.  Do you have an interest, idea, or skill that is not listed but is within the scope of our mission and could enhance ministry to the law enforcement and first responder communities?  Feel free to contact us and discuss it further!  Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

MARKETING & OUTREACH

The primary responsibility of the Marketing/Outreach Team is to get newcomers into the church. While every person is called to be a cultural missionary, this team has the special task of keeping the ministries of the church before the law enforcement community through outreach strategies, advertising, and special marketing campaigns.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS - PARKING, GREETERS, & USHERS

The primary responsibility of the First Impressions Team is to make a great and lasting first impression on newcomers to Cop Church Chattanooga. Team members must be energetic, outgoing, courteous, and operate in the gift of “encouragement” so that all attendees feel welcome and at home.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The primary responsibility of the Children's Ministry Team is to develop a world-class children’s ministry that will allow children to experience the presence of God and keep them engaged, excited, safe, and eager to return each week.

WORSHIP MINISTRY - MUSICIANS & SINGERS

The primary responsibility of the Worship Team is to create an atmosphere of anointed worship in which the Spirit of God has freedom to act. The team consists of musicians, singers, and other worship-arts members (i.e. drama, dance, etc) who lead Cop Church Chattanooga in authentic, dynamic, powerful worship experiences.

PRODUCTION TEAM - AUDIO, VIDEO, & LIGHTING

The Production Team is the “operations” team, and should ensure proper function, professional presentation, and smooth transition during worship. The team is responsible for the ambience of the sanctuary to include lighting, the development of media presentations, and proper audio and video equipment set-up and function. In addition, the team will be responsible for ministry branding related to graphic design, web presence, etc. Team members should be “tech savvy,” creative, detail oriented, and have an attitude for excellence.

CARE MINISTRY - PRAYER, GUEST FOLLOW-UP, & VISITATION

The primary responsibility of the Care Ministry Team is to provide spiritual care and follow-up to the Cop Church family. Some members of this team serve "up front" by praying with others during services and altar calls, while others are more "behind the scenes" calling, visiting, and following up with newcomers.
